Waste of time

Last week, when I was off sick, an industry publication got in touch with Cablinc: they wanted additional information about the fire.

Jon Wright, one of the members of my team, got the request in my absence. Unable to reach me (I was still delirious in bed) and unaware of the work I had done, he did his very best to answer all the questions.

The frustrating thing is: before I got sick, I had received and responded very similar questions from another publication. They were all in my email sent folder. Jon wasted a huge amount of time redoing the work, and, because of his lack of experience, he failed to effectively communicate some key ideas.

A waste of precious time and a missed opportunity to guarantee Cablinc more positive exposure.
