I’m so exhausted! I had a hard day finding effective ways to communicate, to both clients and colleagues, the problems we had with the machine at our UK factory.
The problem was only solved this morning after Steve McGreasy had the brilliant idea of asking a previous employee, now retired, to come over and help us out. It seems the machine was his “baby” and Cablinc let him go without a proper information handling process. He could not believe that nobody had done proper maintenance.
It was nice of him to come, specially at such short notice.
I wonder if anyone used this opportunity to capture some of his knowledge and document the work done today.
