Work away from work

Today I had a quick chat with Louise McGeek. I told her that it felt a wasted opportunity to have me at home, off sick, capable of a bit of work but without the tools to make it possible. I also highlighted what it meant in terms of both me and Jon Wright wasting a lot of our precious time redoing work.

McGeek mentioned an experienced colleague of ours who is leaving Cablinc. She needs to move to London and, although in theory she could work remotely, we do not have the tools to make it happen for her.

She sounded sympathetic but I am not sure about her willingness to change the situation.

Enterprise social tools make remote and mobile work a reality. Attend Social Now Europe 2019 (Lisbon, Portugal - 6 & 7 June) to see how it can be done.
