Yasmin knows

As per Joan McChatty’s suggestion, I’m meeting with Sam McCable tomorrow to talk about what he remembers from the opening of Cablinc’s existing factories.

Meanwhile, I decided to talk with Yasmin: being the Senior Team Executive Assistant and having been with the company almost from the beginning, I thought she might remember something useful. And she does! (It’s amazing how much people underestimate the knowledge and experience of support staff.)

One of the things she most vividly remembers is the negative reaction of the factory workers in the UK when those other factories were announced. They feared their jobs would be taken over by workers in cheaper countries.
