Easing into my new job
Today I had a long webcall with Joan McChatty, the person I am replacing as Head of Marketing & Internal Comms. She is only leaving in a couple of weeks which hopefully gives me a chance to ease into my new role.
She seems true to her surname: she is a talker! She gave me plenty of information about the company, including some gossip. We managed to share some good laughs together!
Day two is done. Very happy with things so far.
