Giving them a voice and listening
Today’s senior team meeting was all about the broken machine at our UK factory. All fingers seem to be pointing at Steve McGreasy, the Head of Factory Operations, for not having proper maintenance protocols in place.
That can, indeed, be a problem if it’s true. However, and considering workers knew there was a problem with the machine at least a week before it happened, I’m more concerned about the lack of communication between workers and their managers.
