Meeting notes (version 76)
Immediately after last week’s senior team meeting, Yasmin Kushal emailed us the meeting notes.
Today, we are exchanging emails to agree the agenda for tomorrow’s senior management weekly meeting, receiving emails with documents to be discussed in the meeting, and… still exchanging emails about last week’s notes.
“That is not what I meant”; “If that is not what you meant, than I do not agree with you and will not support this going forward”; “That will have a big impact on my own planning”; etc.
What a waste of time! I asked Yasmin why she does not share the notes in our digital collaboration platform. She confided that some members of the senior team refuse to leave their inboxes and venture into what they believe to be the wild west of Cablinc’s enterprise social platforms.
I need to look into this as this looks a very, very inefficient (and despairing) way of working.
